Practical interior design for residential refurbishments, extensions and complete home renovations across South West London.
At Kluk Construction, we understand that great design is the backbone of any successful project. Whether transforming your kitchen, upgrading your bathroom, or refurbishing your entire home, our team ensures your space is practical and visually stunning. We’re here to guide you through the journey—from concept to completion—tailoring every detail to your unique style and functional needs.
The way a space is structured defines how it functions. Whether you’re knocking through walls to create an open-plan living area or reworking an existing layout for better flow, strong architectural design is key. At Kluk Construction, we take a practical, considered approach to these kinds of changes, ensuring each zone works seamlessly for your needs.
We handle everything from reconfiguring internal walls to improving access to natural light, ensuring your home feels spacious and well-connected. Our team also provides detailed technical drawings and 3D visualisations to help you picture the transformation before construction begins. Additionally, we manage structural calculations, planning permissions and building regulations, so you can confidently move forward with your project.
Beyond structure, the materials and finishes you choose define the feel of your home. We support you in bringing a setting to life with high-quality interior construction, ensuring each detail is practical and beautifully executed. From sleek marble worktops to durable ceramic wall tiles, we guide you through material choices that balance longevity with aesthetics.
In addition, we have experience working with premium brands like Farrow & Ball for wall finishes and Amtico for luxury vinyl tiles. Whether you crave a homely traditional feel or a clean, minimalist aesthetic, we ensure the materials, colours, and finishes all work together.
The kitchen is the heart of every home—where family meals, daily routines, and social gatherings unfold. We create kitchens that work for your lifestyle, whether you need a space that makes weekday cooking effortless or a stylish hub for entertaining guests. Open-plan layouts create a seamless connection between the kitchen and living area, allowing you to cook while still being part of the conversation. Smart storage solutions, such as deep drawers for pots and pans, pull-out larders, and integrated recycling systems, keep everything organised and within reach.
For those who appreciate fine craftsmanship, our handcrafted joinery ensures your kitchen island and each cabinet is tailored to your space. If you prefer an off-the-shelf solution, we also collaborate with trusted brands like Howdens to provide high-quality kitchens at competitive prices. Whether it’s a classic Shaker design or a minimalist slab door style, we create kitchens that are both functional and inviting.
A well-designed bathroom should balance comfort, practicality, and relaxation. We create bathrooms that cater to modern living—a stylish ensuite for unwinding after a long day, a spacious family bathroom that can handle busy mornings, or a compact cloakroom that makes the most of a small footprint.
Premium fixtures, like rainfall showers, freestanding tubs, and underfloor heating, also bring a luxurious touch. At the same time, clever storage—such as recessed shelving, vanity units, and mirrored cabinets—keeps surfaces clutter-free. Together, these thoughtful details create a bathroom that blends elegance with practicality, offering comfort and sophistication.
Bespoke joinery is at the heart of many of our projects, ensuring each element of your home is uniquely tailored. Whether you need fitted wardrobes, bespoke shelving, or a handcrafted media unit, our skilled joiners design and build storage that integrates seamlessly with your space. We also specialise in feature wall installations, such as stylish wall panelling or wood slat feature walls, that add texture and visual interest to any room.
A well-executed built-in wardrobe, for example, can transform a bedroom by maximising storage without compromising style. In living areas, made-to-measure cabinetry can house anything from books to tech, keeping things neat while adding character. For open-plan settings, a handcrafted room divider with integrated shelving can define different zones without blocking light or flow. Each piece is made with precision and attention to detail, using high-quality materials that stand the test of time.
At Kluk Construction, our process is structured yet flexible, ensuring we meet our client’s unique requirements. Whether you’re looking to reconfigure a single room or undertake a full-scale refurbishment, we tailor our approach to deliver results that align with your vision and lifestyle.
Our journey begins with an in-depth conversation where we discuss your ideas, preferences, and the specific goals for your home. We take the time to understand how you use the room and the atmosphere you wish to create. Whether considering a bathroom overhaul, reimagining your living area, or embarking on a larger-scale renovation, we ensure that the concept fits both your vision and practical needs. We also discuss a realistic budget and timeline, so everything stays on track from the start.
Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements, we create initial layouts, mood boards, and visual concepts. We explore different design directions, from colour schemes and furniture arrangements to spatial layouts that improve flow and functionality. For smaller projects, we refine the finer details, while for more extensive renovations, we outline a flexible framework that allows for evolving ideas.
After presenting our initial concepts, we collaborate with you to refine the arrangement. This phase focuses on finalising materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings, ensuring all elements align with your taste and budget. For larger-scale renovations, we also ensure that the layout maximises space and natural light while remaining cohesive with the overall aesthetic of your home.
Once the scheme is approved, we prepare for the construction phase by finalising plans, ordering materials, and scheduling tradespeople. We ensure that each aspect—from the choice of fixtures to the colour of cabinetry—is accounted for, ensuring a smooth transition into the build stage.
During the construction phase, our team oversees every aspect of the project to ensure seamless execution. Whether it’s a small-scale makeover or an extensive overhaul, we manage trades, monitor quality, and keep you informed at every stage of the work.
