This week we’re honoured to feature some priceless knowledge by interiors expert William de Peyrecave. Having studied Interior Design at KLC School of Design in Chelsea, William has run his own design studio since 2015.
William offers a complete interior design service from sourcing individual furnishings to designing interior spaces. He’s also committed to achieving the best design solution to meet your needs and lifestyle. Over the last few years, William has seen matte black bathroom fittings growing in favour. Now one of the biggest trends on the market, here, William discusses everything from shower screens to vanity units.
It’s clean, minimal and modern in appearance. Matte black bathroom fittings also complement the popular loft/industrial style. It also works well to create a bold statement within a neutral scheme.
One huge benefit to matte black bathrooms fittings is that they are incredibly low maintenance. For instance, with chrome and stainless steel fittings, you may be concerned about marking by limescale caused by hard water (notorious in London). Chemical staining caused by strong cleaning products is also a factor or just simply daily wear and scratches. Matte black bathroom fittings are not easily marked as the powder coating is simply harder to damage. So why not take the leap and try something different to create a statement feature in your house!
